Report Cards and Grades

Our reporting system is designed to give parents and students an indication of the progress which is being made. Students are evaluated in their academic subjects and on their conduct. Academic grades are based on the quality and accuracy of work done on homework, quizzes, exams, projects, etc. 13

          S        Satisfactory            83-91%            B
          P        Progressing            74-82%            C
          N       Needs Improvement 65-73%            D

Effort Grading Key
M = Meets Expectations
P = Progressing
N = Needs Improvement

Honor Roll
An honor roll is complied each nine week grading period and is made up of the following:

  • High Honors- Students who receive all A’s
  • Honors – Students who receive all A’s and/or B’s


Retention
Students receiving an “F” in three academic subjects, including math, and either Reading or English, in any given quarter may be subject to retention.

All policies in the handbook are subject to interpretation and enforcement by teachers and administration.
